Davido's 'Timeless' Concert Breaks Record, Thrilled fans

On the evening of April 23rd, 2023, music lovers in Lagos, Nigeria were treated to a sensational performance by one of Africa's biggest stars, Davido. The concert, dubbed "Timeless", was a celebration of the artist's career and his impact on the African music scene.

Before the D-Day, the much anticipated event which was held at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS ), Lagos was billed to be record-breaking. According to the 30BG leader himself, the 50,000 capacity venue  would be "the second biggest stage in west Africa or Africa" and it was clear from the outset that it was going to be a night to remember. The air was electric with excitement as fans eagerly awaited the arrival of their hero, and the stage was set for an unforgettable experience.

As Davido took to the stage, the crowd erupted in a thunderous ovation, and the show kicked off in earnest. With his signature blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and hip-hop, Davido took the audience on a musical journey that spanned his entire career. From his early hits like "Dami Duro" to more recent bangers like "Fem", the artist delivered one electrifying performance after another, leaving the audience begging for more.

One of the highlights of the night was when Davido brought out some of his closest collaborators and friends to perform with him. Artists across the spectrum from well known, to popular and even the relatively new acts performed their bangers. We had Asake,  Iyanya , Sina Rambo, Skibii, Mayorkun, Peruzzi, and Dremo. Other acts included Spyro, Odumodu Blvck, Starboy Terri, British rapper Tion Wayne, Morravey - new female signing for 30BG, all making guest appearances, adding their own unique flair to the already unforgettable show.

The stage production was equally impressive, with a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system that enhanced the overall experience. The visuals were stunning, and the choreography was on point, making it impossible for anyone in attendance to resist the urge to dance.

As the night wore on, Davido's energy never wavered, and his passion for his craft was evident in every note he sang. His music is more than just entertainment; it's a reflection of his life, his culture, and his journey to the top. This was never more apparent than when he performed "Fia", a song that addresses the challenges he's faced in his career and the resilience that has helped him overcome them.

For those lucky enough to be in attendance, it was a night they will never forget.
