Lil’ Wayne’s "Young Money Radio" Maintains ‘steam’, Hosts Legendary Dr. Dre, others in Episode 6.

Fans of Lil’ Wayne’s popular late night show, Young Money radio, were in for a treat as the show hosted one of the legendary hip-hop movement – Dr. Dre.

Lil’ Wayne had previously made known some of the guests who would be gracing his Apple music hosted show when the “Lollipop” rapper took to his instagram handle, to inform his 12.1M followers.

#YoungMoneyRadio is back at it again on @applemusic today at 4pm PT/7pm ET/11pm GMT with a special episode. One of today’s guests: @drdre. This man doesn’t EVER do interviews. Also… I’ll be dropping NEW MUSIC tonight (deluxe style) so TUNE in and watch LIVE.

He also replicated his intention on his twitter handle, when he announced, “We have two doctors on the show today — Dr. Dre, and the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases DR. FAUCI!

And true to his promise, Weezy did drop a new music on the night - the much anticipated Funeral Deluxe.

During the interview, among the topics discussed by the two icons were:

• Dr. Dre leaving Death Row Records and starting Aftermath Entertainment

• What process Dr. Dre adopts when discovering talents

• How Dre banishes personal life from working in the studios

• The murder of George Floyd by the Minneapolis police

• Dre’s tribute (done together with Adam Silva) to late Kobe Bryant at the last NBA all Star Game among other topics.

Dr. Dre, born Andre Romelle Young is a six time Grammy Awards winner and is arguably one of the greatest hip-hop producer cum rapper of all time. Top artists he has worked with include, Eminem, 50 cent, Snoop, Tupac, Warren G, The D.O.C., Xzibit, Knoc-turn'al and in recent years, he has produced albums for and overseen the careers of many other rappers, including, The Game, Kendrick Lamar and Anderson Paak.

The sixth episode of the Young Money Radio Show also hosted Tory Lanez and Kevin Hart.

Previous episodes of The Young Money Radio had played host to top talents and big names in the entertainment industry among which are, Ludacris, Drake, Eminem, Dj Khaleed, Shaquille O’neal,  Quavo (a member of The Migos), and Mike Tyson etc.
