US vows "massive military Response" To The Nuclear Threat of North Korea

The United States of America through its Defense Secretary of State,James Mattis has issued a strongly-worded statement of her intended response to the threat of North Korea against the United States or its allies .The statement which was issued outside the white house followed a meeting with top National Security Advisers on Sunday in which  the US president Donald Trump,Vice President Mike Pence were briefed  on each of the "many military options" for dealing with the North Korean nuclear threat.massive military Response" To The Nuclear Threat of North Korea

  "Our commitment among the allies are ironclad," The statement reads. "Any threat to the United States or its territories, including Guam, or our allies will be met with a massive military response, a response both effective and overwhelming."..."We are not looking to the total annihilation of a country, namely North Korea, but as I said, we have many options to do so," Secretary Mattis said.

Earlier on Sunday in its sixth and most powerful Nuclear test,North Korea said it had tested a hydrogen bomb that could be mounted on an intercontinental ballistic missile, and hours before the detonation, it released photographs of its leader, Kim Jong-un, examining what it said was the new weapon.

In a series of tweet president Trump condemned North Korea's claimed test of a hydrogen bomb calling it ''hostile and dangerous'', adding that Pyongyang "has become a great threat and embarrassment to China, which is trying to help but with little success." "South Korea is finding, as I have told them at their talk of appeasement with North Korea will not work, they only understand one thing!"
